Cool or what? EDN’s sister publication Design News has a great video of a robotic jellyfish demonstrated as by Festo, at the Hannover Fair. From the article, “AquaJelly robots also manage their own battery-charging behavior. They communicate with an in-tank charging dock wirelessly via ZigBee, for example, to make sure the dock isn’t occupied when they need to charge.”
A great demonstration of the importance of sensors, communication, and ultra-low-power electronics in highly portable devices.
